5-25 Milestones: A Big Boy's Bed

Yep, you guessed it. It was time for the Peanut to move out of the crib and into his own bed. We found the cutest Cars toddler bed for a great deal, and I had already purchased some Toy Story bedding. (He loves McQueen and Mater, and Buzz and Woody.)

When I went to get the bed frame, he climbed right in without any mattress and was upset that he kept falling through! We got home and I put the bed all together for him. P-Nut was sooo excited about his big boy's bed. He kept climbing on it, laying down on it, patting the covers and saying "night-night". He loved his Woody and Buzz pillow! (Jumping on piles of pillows and throwing them around is a favorite pastime for our little man.)

You can't tell me his excitement is not cute, it's contagious it is so darn cute!

After two excited hours of not taking a nap, Peanut was placed back in his crib where he finally did sleep. But that same night guess where the Nut got his handsome rest? Yuperoo.

In his big boy's bed.

With only five . .. . or something... times putting him back in bed. The last time he knocked on the door (because we shut it to keep him in) and when I checked on him he said, "Diaper?". And sure enough, his diaper was wet.

What a smart Nut.

P.S. -- Tonight it only took 30 minutest to get him to really stay in his bed and go to sleep. That is serious progress. YEA!

P.P.S. -- He looks so adorable in his new Buzz pajamas, on his Toy Story sheets in his Cars bed, snuggling his woobie.

P.P.S.S. -- Peanut also put on a shoe all by himself today, and refused to eat in his high-chair. He wanted to sit at the table with Mama and Dada. Our Nut is growing up so fast!!!! And it seems to be all at once!

So how about a cute pic of Peanut in the Buzz, Toy Story, Cars combo?
